“filial ”是形容詞，“子女（對(duì)父母）的”；“piety”是名詞，“虔誠(chéng)”。因此“子女對(duì)父母虔誠(chéng)”就是“孝道、孝順”。對(duì)于我這種記憶力不好的人，平時(shí)也很少見(jiàn)到這倆單詞，要是我在考場(chǎng)上我只能想起來(lái)我背過(guò)那個(gè)短語(yǔ)孝道，兩個(gè)單詞一個(gè)f開(kāi)頭，一個(gè)p開(kāi)頭，具體怎么拼估計(jì)抓耳撓腮都想不起來(lái)。所以，“l(fā)ove and respect our parents ”愛(ài)和尊重我們的父母就是“孝道”的意思呀。還需要注意得仍然是那個(gè)介詞“of”，變動(dòng)名詞，變動(dòng)名詞，變動(dòng)名詞，重要的事情說(shuō)三遍。如果是名詞，就不需要變了。
